You’ll have the whole house for use – 2 bedrooms, a living room space, dining space and beautiful new kitchen and bathroom.
The space
This tastefully remodeled home provides a cozy environment for your stay situating you just minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. This home has queen size beds in each of the bedrooms, a cozy living room with a faux fireplace and room for everyone to gather, as well as a beautiful new kitchen with everything needed to cook and save money on dining out during your stay.
Guest access
Guests will access the home using the front porch or the side porch. The side porch door enters to the kitchen and has a smaller door height (6′) – it is 5 wide stairs (with handrails on each side) to go up. The front door is under a large covered porch area. You can park almost directly in front of the porch and it is 4 wide stairs (With handrails on each side) to go up. There are no steps inside the home.
Guests will have the entire home for use, there will not be anyone else on the property except the owner/family will come park in the driveway just for the purposes of lawn maintenance and trash pickup (we try to do on Sundays, weather permitting).
Other things to note
Please note that our central location means the property is situated directly in front of a busy road, and you may hear some traffic sounds during your stay.
To ensure you get a peaceful night’s rest we provide a white noise machine, ceiling fan, and room-darkening curtains as well as window shades in each of the bedrooms for your absolute comfort.
While light sleepers may still notice the vibrant surroundings, these additions help create a very cozy and quiet sleeping environment.
There is a door from the back bedroom that goes to a small basement area (unfinished/storage space only) the space is not accessible to guests unless long term stay (28+ days if they want to store items there).
